#TeamIChoose Youth Ministry
#TIC is a division of TGZ geared towards building the whole youth (educationally, spiritually, and personally). Our number one priority is the success of the people who partake in the #TIC experience. Our goal is to assist our youth in reaching their goals while remaining consistent in their pursuit of the knowledge of God and his word. We choose to be the difference, we choose to be successful, we choose to defeat the odds, to choose not to become a statistics, and we choose to make our vision/dreams a reality!
Our Vision:
The vision of #TeamIChoose is to build a body of young believers who are solely committed to God and the call that he has placed upon their life. We want to challenge our youth to be metacognitive in their thinking while bettering their comprehension of God's word. As our understanding increases so will our identity through and in God's word, ultimately changing the way we think and govern our lives. We want to draw young people from all walks of life and help them become the powerful, influential, spirit filled, spirit lead, believers they are destined to be. Our Purpose: The purpose of #TeamIChoose is to raise up young people who do not have a passion for God or an understanding of his word and teach them precept upon precept about who God is, how to develop a closer relationship with him, and how to discover your assignment and effectively walk in it. The focus of this division of our ministry is to build a hunger and a drive for God that will last a lifetime. We accomplish this by teaching practical Kingdom principles to not only get our youth through the week but, to build them up and expand them in the things of God. Join The Team: #TeamIChoose is constantly looking for "Team Leaders". Team Leaders are young people within the community who are committed to teaching their peers how to walk this Christian walk the way God intended. Our focus is on helping others develop a closer relationship with God while growing them on a one on one basis through mentoring and small group meetings. Our Team Leaders are committed to giving every member the help they need no matter what it takes.  Pastor T!
Meet Our Youth Pastor!
Pastor Shane Thompson (Pastor T) is the #TeamIChoose Youth Pastor. Pastor T is a native of the Fayetteville area who has a passion for young people and their spiritual and natural growth. At only 19 years old, he accepted the calling of Youth Pastor upon his life. Many know him as the "funny man" of the TGZ family but, there is so much more to him. He also serves as the Director of Ministry for TGZ where he leads the office staff and supervises the various ministries that are offered at each location.
